The PGA Tour's Tampa Bay Championship teed off on Thursday at the Innisbrook Golf and Spa Resort, and some of the biggest names in the sport were on hand to try and take home the winner's trophy.

In addition to past winners of the event like KJ Choi, Retief Goosen, Carl Petterson and Luke Donald, other big names on tour such as Adam Scott, Jason Day, Jason Duffner and Sergio Garcia took to the famed Copperhead Course on Thursday.

While some of the top players in the world, such as Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson and Rory McElroy, have decided not participate in this leg of what's known as the Florida swing, enough terrific players show up to attract big crowds every year.
