Destination Safety Harbor

The stars know where to go when they need a break.

Got a Christmas card from some friends in Chicago. Inside was a colum from the Chicago Tribune. When Hawaii is not possible singer Shemekia Copeland comes to the Harbor.

It is great to hear that Shemekia Copeland has travelled around the world and one of her favorite places to visit is Safety Harbor. Ms. Copeland has confirmed what the rest of us here already know. Safety Harbor is a special place to live and to visit. Safety Harbor has a great downtown, a beautiful waterfront, nice parks, a unique Spa, and it has preserved it's "Old Florida" atmosphere that has been lost in most other Florida cities. Every friend and relative that has visited me in Safety Harbor has wanted to sell their house up north and move here. Safety Harbor has definitely become one of Florida's most beautiful and unique cities.

Question number 4:
Q. When you have just a few days off, where do you go? A. When I can't get to Hawaii, I like to go to Florida. There's an area called Safety Harbor that's so cool, laid-back and nice. I've fallen in love with it. It's the perfect place to go for two or three days.
