The fall edition of the semi-annual yard sale drew hundreds of people on Saturday.

Hundreds of shoppers, sellers and curious onlookers came out to the Safety Harbor Community Center on Saturday for the fall edition of the Junk in the Trunk community yard sale.

Local art vendors, organizations and regular citizens showed up to participate in the event, which featured 50 separate sellers.

The pleasant October morning helped facilitate an excellent turnout for the semi-annual sale, now in its fourth year, according to Kelliann Gerlach, recreation manager for the city.

"This cool weather is wonderful," she said. "It's really helped to bring people out."

Gerlach said that any items that were not sold and the owners did not want to take back with them would be given to Goodwill.
