We do not have to be responsible, we not have to share with our loved ones, we do not have to careRead Morea bout our neighbors, or teach the children in our community or take the time to listen to the elderly in their wisdom. Nothing obligates us to be authentic and caring, we do not need to pay attention to what it would mean for humanity without cultivating mutual respect, taking the time to smile to ourselves and to others. We need not care about celebrating joy in the small things, or appreciating and preserving art, music, and precious creativity. But how can we live with ourselves and have hope for future unless we do.

No picture for the winner for MCP Art Walls 2013 has yet been posted, but a photograph of the nowRead Mored amaged painting has been used (without credit to the artist) as promotional material for the up-coming 2014 exhibit. Does this make sense? Hopefully future Public Art exhibitions will provide a contract under which an artist would be covered in the event of loss of his/her work. --N. O. Brown, Philadelphia, Pa.

N. O. Brown 1:17 PM (2 hours ago) While I do not participate on Facebook, the vandalism andRead Mored estruction of a painiting by Queirolo Martini has come to my attention and I wish to express my sorrow and outrage. Is it even possible that paintings in the Safety Harbor Public Art exhibition are not better supervised, and insured against such damage?
