September 3rd Friday in Pictures

Hundreds of revelers packed Main Street in Safety Harbor for the Renaissance Fair 3rd Friday.

A swift storm may have ended the festivities prematurely, but there was plenty of fun being had by all during September's Renaissance Fair-themed 3rd Friday prior to that.

Hundreds of men, women and children (and animals) packed Main Street, enjoying the all the sights, sounds and tastes the monthly street festival has to offer before the rain came at around 9 p.m.

There was live music outside many venues, an animal show at the Gazebo, a tattoo chair in front of the Chop Shop, and plenty of people dressed in Renaissance Fair garb.

Safety Harbor Patch was lucky enough to have a booth right in the middle of all the action, and when I wasn't meeting new friends and greeting old ones, I got to wander up and down Main Street to capture some of the atmosphere of 3rd Friday.

Enjoy these scenes from a downtown Renaissance festival, and feel free to add you own photos to the gallery as well. Just click the "Upload Photos and Videos" button with this story.
