Harbor Views: Woodstock, Man!
Reader Bobby Saltzman submitted this timely photo to our Pics & Clips gallery in advance of the new Woodstock themed restaurant opening in town.
It's all about peace, love and rock and roll this week, Harborites.
Fresh on the heels of the news of a Woodstock themed restaurant opening downtown soon, avid Patcher Bobby Saltzman submitted this shot of his orginial tickets to the iconic music festival to our Pics & Clips Gallery.
I may be going out on a limb here, but something tells me Bobby and restaurant owner Stann Cherniak are going to hit it off!
Thanks for the photo, Bobby!

I met Stan and his partner Ellas yesterday. He gave me the nickel tour. What a great theme. Not going to give away his unique ideas, you will have go yourself to see just how cool it is going to be. I do believe he is planning on the grand opening to be ........ sorry not going to steal his thunder, just look for the word...it's going to be a fun place...

Booby, you old fart! And you even provided your own evidence. Live long and prosper, my friend.

Hi Bobby ~ Your Woodstock tickets are just awesome! I just uploaded a photo of the original Woodstock brochure that I have (which lists all the bands and on what day they played). Although I didn't get to go (since I was only 14 at the time), a number of my friends attended and brought me back the brochure which I have kept ever since. I have a few Woodstock-related pieces of memorabilia that Mr. Cherniak might like to see and or have on loan at his new place. Can't wait until Woodstock on 5th opens - it sounds like a lot of fun! Peace, love and pie ~

I would have been at Woodstock had I been any older than 6...

Stan came into our booth at 3rd Friday to invite us to sell some of our rock and roll crafts at Woodstock. He is such a nice guy! I asked him about his background and he is a very talented chef with a great career history. From everything he was telling us I do not believe there is anything like what he is about to do anywhere around here. I am so excited about the opening, I just can't wait!
